Company Profile

Founded in 1971, Miniature Pressure Gauge Ltd began as a specialist manufacturer of miniature brass pressure gauges designed for steam-driven models. With over six decades of expertise in the pressure gauge industry - spanning four generations - the company has built a reputation for precision engineering and innovation.

Our heritage dates back to 1954, when Central Pressure Gauge was established by the founder of our family business. In 1990, we acquired Central Pressure Gauge, further strengthening our capabilities and legacy.

In 1984, we expanded into the industrial sector, offering pressure, vacuum and temperature gauges, along with calibration and repair services. A major milestone came in 1993 when we designed the world's smallest bourdon tube pressure gauge, specifically engineered for miniature steam locomotives. This 1/2" gauge entered production in 1994 and remains a hallmark of our commitment to innovation.

In 1995, we introduced the 23mm high pressure indicator, widely used in the air rifle and diving industries. To support increased production, we relocated to larger premises in 1997. In 2002, Miniature Pressure Gauge became a limited company.

Today, our products are exported to over 20 countries, including Australia, Japan and the United States. We serve a diverse range of industries such as model engineering, air rifle manufacturing, diving, petrochemical, food processing, refrigeration, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Located at the base of Mucklows Hill in Halesowen, just a mile from Junction 3 of the M5 motorway, our experienced and dedicated team is committed to delivering a fast, reliable service. We pride ourselves on handling customer orders with efficiency and care, ensuring satisfaction at every stage.
