Company Profile
Miniature Pressure Gauge Company was first established in 1971, where we started manufacturing miniature brass pressure gauges suitable for steam driven models. We are a family run business with over 60 years experience in the pressure gauge industry, spread over four generations. In 1954 my grandfather established Central Pressure Gauge, which we acquired in 1990.
In 1984 we branched out into industrial pressure, vacuum and temperature gauges, where our services included calibration and repairs.
In 1993 we designed and developed the world's smallest bourdon tube pressure gauge, which went into production in 1994. This 1/2" pressure gauge was designed specifically for miniature steam locos.
Then in 1995 we added the manufacturing of the 23mm high pressure indicators to our portfolio, these are mainly used in the air rifle and diving industries. In 1997 we relocated to larger premises, to accommodate the production of the 23mm high pressure indicators.
In 2002 we became a limited company.
Our products are exported all over the world to over twenty different countries including Australia, Japan, and United States. We supply a wide range of industries including Model engineers, Air rifle, Diving, Petro chemical, Food, Refrigeration, Hydraulic, Pneumatic companies and many more.
